Natanatira te Pona

Natanahira Te Pona graduated from the Māori Arts and Crafts Institute as a wood sculptor. He has extensive experience managing sculpture symposiums and creating public sculptures around New Zealand. His passion for wood carving has spanned commissions, teaching adults and children and he is currently Lake House Art Centre’s Resident Carver.

As a local of Te Hau Kapua Devonport she is passionate about sharing her culture and doing everything with community at heart. She has a passion for music and is not shy to plug out a few waiata from different cultures.

Anthea Ward is a multidisciplinary artist whose work dances between the digital and the handmade. Blending 3D printing, digital design, painting, sewing, and sculpting, she explores the space where creativity meets technology. Inspired by nature, pop culture, and the nostalgic charm of retro design, Anthea’s creations are playful, colourful, and full of personality.
Her art celebrates storytelling and imagination, inviting people to see the magic in everyday things — from vibrant patterns to whimsical forms that spark curiosity and joy. Whether through pixels, paint, or printed plastic, Anthea’s work captures a world where innovation and artistry intertwine.
